Internship
Subject to the approval of the Tutoring Teacher, the internship may lead to the award of academic credits (CFU).
Three credits may be awarded for internships with a minimum duration of 75 hours, provided that they have been activated through COSP or another legally authorized body and have been duly completed at the time of the application for credit recognition.
To this end, the Academic Tutor must review the final evaluations completed online at the end of the internship and sign the specific CFU recognition request form. The trainee must then send this form by email, together with the training project and the two end-of-internship questionnaires, to sefa.giurisprudenza@unimi.it, immediately upon completion of the activity for which recognition is requested and, in any case, no later than the deadline for submitting the graduation application.
The activation of the internship must be authorized by a Faculty Tutor through the online approval of the training project. Approval may be granted by one of the Faculty members responsible for the relevant internship area:
| Tutoring Teacher | Area |
| Dr. Pizza (Public Law Dept.) | Public and International Law |
| Prof. Maniaci (Private Law Dept.) | Private Law, Labour Law, Business Law |
| Prof. Camaldo, Prof. Toscano and Prof. Perri (Beccaria Law Dept.) | Criminal and Economic Sciences, Church Law and IT Law |
An internship (or traineeship) is a training experience encompassing different options:
- Students can participate in curricular internship/work placement
- Those who have completed their study programme not more than 12 months ago can do extracurricular internships/traineeships.
The Cosp manages setup procedures for internships in public and private companies and institutions aimed at enrolled students, graduands and postgraduates.
How to find a stage opportunity
Students can either select one of the available internship positions on the University noticeboard or find an internship by themselves.
In any case they must follow procedures established by the Study and Career Guidance Centre (COSP).
